About 2-D

An Introduction from Steve Cramer, President.

Experienced - Measuring real estate since 1983.

2-D has become the leading national as-built company by combining cutting edge laser technology and excellent customer service. We have measured millions of square feet accurately and cost-effectively, from single-family dwellings, condos and apartment complexes to marine bases, schools and medical facilities.

Fast

Precise specs and files in the client's hands quickly jump-starts the planning process. Beginning as a professional provider of BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association) analyses, our technology has transformed the as-built process from a slow, expensive, inaccurate process to a fast, cost-effective, and highly precise process.

Cutting Edge Technology

Extremely high level of accuracy regardless of the building type. We developed our own proprietary software, Building Surveyor, that draws the plan onsite instantly via Bluetooth as we measure the walls. This technique allows us to use a survey closure process to insure detailed floor plans with close tolerance levels.

Flexible

Complete lease area analysis for building owners, managers, and agents using the latest BOMA standard. Our color-coded lease plans and spreadsheets clearly indicate tenant areas and common areas - the easiest to read in the industry. Our reports include full floor plans in black and white, color-coded lease plans, suite drawings if requested, and a CD with all of the files in both PDF and CAD format. Our in-house CAD department has the flexibility to meet your time requirements and unique needs. And once your building is in CAD format, tenant areas can change and be recalculated in a snap.

Accurate

Architects: with 2-D you have the capability to produce as-builts to any set of standards. This includes locations with all required details - floor plans, full ceiling details, site characteristics - the works. Closure technology in our software provides the assurance that the measurements are within a small tolerance, which is much smaller than typical hand measurements.
