Our Time and Cost Saving Process
Our field technicians start in one corner and follow the walls around the room with a laser, drawing the wall lines via Bluetooth on a pen tablet as each length is measured. When the technician gets back to where they started, our software tells us how close we are to the start point. If we are not within a narrow tolerance level, then the technician rechecks for input error or angled walls. Once the error is resolved, the software closes the room measurements perfectly, similar to a land survey. This is done for every room, regardless of size. When we leave a building, the floor plan is complete and we know it is accurate; return trips are not needed, saving valuable time and money for our clients. Measuring buildings in real-time also allows the technician to notice immediately if an item is located correctly, relative to other improvements. Items such as sinks, counters, and furniture are scaled immediately with the laser and placed precisely. Curves and angles are a snap, triangulating from known survey points.
